Utilizes scientific principles as well as technical, procedural, and problem-solving aptitudes for day-to-day laboratory technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, procedure/instrument maintenance and corrective action, test result correlation, and clinical laboratory related continuing education. **Education and/or Experience** + Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited two year college program or technical school required. + Six months to one year of related experience or training preferred. **Certification** + Certification as Medical Laboratory Technician from the ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required within 12 months of hire. **Work Schedule** + Varied Shifts: 6:30am-3:00pm, 8:30am-5:00pm; 72 hours every 2 weeks + Every 5 th weekend + Every 5 th holiday + Weekday/Weekend call schedule **Pay** The hourly range for this position is listed below.
