Job Summary Performs clinical laboratory tests with an emphasis on PTH testing. Assures instrumentation is operating according to industry standards. Excellent Customer Service Skills Works closely with the PTH surgical team to ensure timely PTH results Continually strives to improve processes to achieve accurate test results in a cost effective and efficient manner. Reports to a Laboratory Manager or Supervisor. Receives general supervision from Pathologists, Director, Lead Technologist and Medical Technologists. Qualifications Education Associate degree and Medical Lab Tech (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent. Must meet the minimum requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Act of 1988. Experience 2 years preferred (Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) Licensure/Certification Registered with ASCP (or eligible for registry) as a Medical Lab Tech or equivalent Compensation/Benefits $19.56-$43.71/hr depending on previous work experience.
