Astria Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team! This is a night shift position. 

 

What you get to do every day!

 

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible to perform assays accurately and timely on patient samples utilizing a variety of automated and manual testing procedures to aid the provider in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will:

 

Capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis and instrument maintenance and problem solving. Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of laboratory test results with minimal supervision. Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infections control standards, so the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies. Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries. Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.

What you bring to the role:

 

Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory/medical technology. National certification from ASCP, AMT, NCA. Oral and written fluency in the English language.
