\nThis is a PART TIME/HYBRID position. You transcribe patient medical information from Baylor Scott & White Health professionals into our transcription system for accuracy. Your role is vital for maintaining electronic health records efficiently and accurately.
\nWhat You'll Do
\n\nContribute to patient healthcare by interpreting and processing doctor-transcribed medical information.\nSkillfully use an array of software tools to accurately document patient visits, pathology, radiology, operations, and other procedures.\nAssist in codifying diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications using universally accepted healthcare language.\nPartner professionally in a medical team to ensure all patient documentation is comprehensive, insightful, and up-to-date.\nRegularly update your knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and practices to maintain best possible performance in the role.\nHelp the healthcare system function well by consistently doing excellent work, meeting deadlines, and keeping quality records.\n\nWhat Will Make You Successful In The Role
\n\nProficiency in medical terminology and a good understanding of healthcare documentation.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for details.\nA knack for working efficiently in a team-oriented environment, but also comfortable taking on tasks autonomously.\nAbility to maintain composure and focus while dealing with deadlines and assignments.\nAptitude in using various computer programs, including healthcare-related software.\nWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.\nSkills and interests related to improving healthcare processes and patient care.\n\nBelonging Statement

\nQualifications
\n\nPossess at least an associate's degree or alternatively, two years of professional experience beyond the basic requirement.\nAt least (3) three years of professional experience.\n
