We are seeking an individual who is knowledgeable and enjoys overseeing our provider state licensing process. This position is mainly responsible the flow of licensing applications for processing, as well as assisting with the necessary administrative tasks to obtain state licenses for our providers. The individual in this role will ensure the precise and timely processing of provider applications during both initial reviews and re-application processes. Furthermore, this person will analyze state legislation to confirm that licensed individuals consistently comply with evolving state requirements regarding supervision, education, and continuing medical education. Additionally, the Licensing Specialist will offer administrative support to departments including billing, patient advocacy, legal, and human resources.
Responsibilities
+ Ensures timely and professional communication with providers, documents interactions and follow ups as required to ensure timely file completion.
+ Ensures monthly maintenance of files to ensure compliance, i.e. licenses, DEA, malpractice
+ Tracks and monitors non-responsive providers.
+ Maintains confidentiality and security of provider files.
+ Knowledge and experience with HIPAA Compliance
+ Support back office team with administrative duties to include patient advocacy, contract reviews, or human resources.
Requirements
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Demonstrated ability to work independently
+ Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and accurately
+ Expertise with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
+ Ability to focus for extended periods
+ Detail oriented, good organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
+ Paralegal experience - preferred
+ Medical administrative office experience - a plus
+ State medical licensing experience strongly preferred
Candidate will be located in Denver, CO metro area and be willing to work in an office close to Bellview and I25.
Position pays between $25 to $32/hr
