We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our dynamic dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various medical and administrative tasks to support our providers and ensure the highest quality of patient care. ResponsibilitiesTake patient vitals and room patientsAssist in patient education and medication verificationsManage phone calls and perform scansCheck patients in and outSchedule appointments and handle prior authorizationsAssist providers during examinations and proceduresEssential SkillsMinimum of 1 year experience in medical assistingMedical Assisting DiplomaProficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient careEffective communication skillsExperience with appointment scheduling and blood pressure monitoringKnowledge in dermatologyAdditional Skills & QualificationsRegistered Medical Assistant (RMA) certificationExperience in a dermatology setting is preferredWork Environment
Our practice is very busy and fast-paced, with ten offices that are constantly growing with new providers. You will be working in a general dermatology setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexible hours ranging from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
