Job Description
As a member of the patient care team, you will assist providers and nursing staff with daily office duties in an outpatient setting. Your role will be vital in supporting patient care and ensuring smooth operations within the facility.
Responsibilities
+ Perform duties that support patient care
+ Take and record patient vitals
+ Conduct client intake
+ Room patients
+ Maintain accurate documentation
Essential Skills
+ Medical Assistant Diploma
+ 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
+ Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA or ARMA)
+ Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Epic
+ Strong communication and flexibility skills
+ Knowledge of medical terminology
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Specialty experience is a plus
+ Health care experience
Work Environment
You will be working in a transplant unit with a schedule that requires availability from 7 AM to 5:45 PM. The typical hours are 8:30 AM to 5 PM, though flexibility is necessary. The work environment is collaborative and focused on patient care, with a commitment to innovative and compassionate medical practice
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
