**Req Number** 151720 _FlexStaff is hiring for one of our clients. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM._ _Pre-Op experience and PACU experience highly desired!_ Responsibilities: *Conducts patient phone interviews and documents basic medical history * Calls doctor offices to track down patient medical clearances, EKGs, blood work, and all other necessary pre-surgical testing and documentation * Answer phones * Take and record vital signs, weights, and EKG's as needed * Update and file medical records * Place orders for necessary medical equipment, supplies for pre-op and recovery units * Greet patients, escort to pre-op/discharge * Assemble medical record according to unit standard * Preparing patients for surgery or for discharge home after surgery * Stock units with necessary supplies * Preparing areas for patients in pre-op/recovery * Other duties as assigned Requirements: * Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong organizational and planning skills * Computer Proficiency * High School Diploma or GED required *Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
