Astria Health is seeking a Medical Office Assistant - Clinic to join the team at our Astria Health Center in Prosser! This is a temporary position with an expected time frame of three months.
What you get to do every day!
As the Medical Office Assistant - Clinic, you will be responsible for for front office and receptionist duties, and support other clinical staff as needed and directed. You will:
Prepare and file medical documents for patient files, while maintaining an accurate filing system. Greet patients visiting the clinic and assist them with paperwork as needed Performs receptionist duties, routing calls to appropriate partiesPerforms other duties as assignedCollaborate effectively across department and organizational boundaries.Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
What you bring to the role:
High School Graduate or GED. One or more years’ experience working in an administrative position supporting office staff and activities. One of more years’ experience in customer service or a clinical business environment. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft software products and systems.This position is identified as a safety-sensitive position for which impairment while on the job would present a substantial risk of death.
