Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a Medical Office Coordinator/Front Desk Lead. Please apply if you have prior leadership experience in healthcare and are looking to work at a fast-paced, physician-owned practice.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for coordinating front desk schedules along with front desk duties.
+ Greet all visitors and patients as they enter the office.
+ Verify insurance and referral information prior to patients seeing the physician.
+ Ensure patient registration is accurate and complete before the patient sees the physician.
+ Maintain and update current information on physician schedules, ensuring that patients are scheduled properly and appointments are confirmed.
+ Routinely answer telephones, triage calls, take messages, and effectively provide a variety of information to patients, physicians, and other staff members.
+ Assist with urgent medication refill requests and urgent medical records requests as needed.
+ Relay necessary messages to appropriate staff and/or physicians.
+ Coordinate and reschedule patient appointments.
+ Post payments and co-pays, maintaining a balanced batch.
+ Schedule appointments for 15 MDs and 7 Mid-Level providers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- min 1 year leadership (team lead, supervisor) level experience in a medical office setting customer facing (medical records, patient access, scheduling, referrals, etc.)
-Ability to work a multi-line telephone system
-High School Diploma required

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
