The Medical Office Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations and delivery of patient care services at assigned medical practice locations. This includes supervising staff, managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a high level of customer and patient satisfaction. This position requires a dynamic individual capable of managing various aspects of a medical practice, ensuring that the operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:Financial ManagementPractice DevelopmentTraining and DevelopmentCompliance and Quality AssuranceOperational EfficiencyOperational Planning:Set and evaluate annual goals aligned with the organization’s strategic plan.Ensure high-quality, cost-effective service delivery by staff.Staff Management:Handle hiring, training, and development of clinical and support staff.Oversee payroll, performance management, and other HR activities.Supervisory Responsibilities:Oversee department staff, including direction, coordination, and evaluation.Handle performance appraisals, employee discipline, and conflict resolution.

Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceLicensure: Current RN Indiana License (RN-IN) if position held by registered nurse.Experience: Demonstrated supervisory experience and responsibilities with three to five years of progressive experience in a medical office practice or ambulatory medical service setting required.Acute healthcare management experience of two to three years in a mid to large size healthcare organization will be considered.Highly proficient in the use of computers and standard office application software programs.Other Job Requirements:  Required to have the ability to travel to all SJPN locations within the tri-county area.
