Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Payment Poster Specialist in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry. Located in Jersey City, New Jersey, you will be primarily tasked with handling customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain precise customer credit records • Navigate through various insurance portals and excel files • Understand and utilize EOB - Explanation of Benefits and EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer • Manage direct deposits to bank accounts • Handle claims processing and claim administration • Conduct appeals and understand different insurance schemes • Implement billing functions and benefit functions • Oversee collection processes and data mining techniques • Utilize software such as Accurint, Allscripts, and Crystal Reports • Engage in dynamic data exchange (DDE) • Allocate account numbers and post electronically Requirements • Proficiency in using Accurint software • Familiarity with Allscripts software • Ability to work with Crystal Reports • Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques • Experience with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) • Ability to handle Appeals • Understanding of Benefit Functions • Proficiency in Billing Functions • Experience in Claim Administration • Familiarity with Collection Processes • Skills in Medical Payment Posting • Experience in Claims Processing • Understanding of EOB - Explanation of Benefits • Ability to interpret EOB • Knowledge about EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer • Experience in handling EFT Payments Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
