40hrs/wk Monday-Friday, days but per department needs. Schedule expectations to be further discussed.
Job Description Summary:
To provide high quality medical physics service to patients requiring radiation therapy. Responsible for routine treatment planning – 2D as well as 3D, IMRT and SBRT and SRS - Responsible for all routine calculations and chart checks. Will participate in brachytherapy, simulation and hyperthermia. Will perform quality assurance of major treatment equipment in the department.
Requirements:
PH.D. or MS in Physics
Must be eligible for certified in Radiation Therapy Physics by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent
Licensed if required by the State
A minimum of three (3) years' experience/training preferred
