This full- time opening is for a Medical Receptionist for our Cardiology office in Brandon/Sun City Center.  Seeking a candidate able to work in a fast paced cardiology office. Checking In & Out, Collecting copays & due balances, verifying Eligibility & Benefits, charge entry, answering phones and obtaining authorizations/referrals

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent Strong customer service orientation, positive attitude and friendly demeanor Excellent telephone etiquette Strong team player Basic computer proficiency One year of prior experience in a medical office required 1 year of experience required. 

Physical and Mental Demands:

Normal physical ability; able to sit for long periods Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making High level verbal and written communication skills Above average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Occupational Exposure:

Low risk exposure to bloodborne pathogens and chemical hazards
