More about CenterWell Senior Primary Care: • More than 85 locations, which are part of the 235 senior primary care centers operated by Humana’s Primary Care Organization • Integrated care teams that include physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, medical coders and center administrators • Nearly 250,000 total patients served in 2022, including those in Medicare Advantage, value-based arrangements or other Medicare programs The Medical Receptionist operates a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintains long distance call logs. Takes and distributes accurate messages. Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee. Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organization's location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and/or email address. Additional responsibilities may include miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation. **Location** : CenterWell Senior Primary Care office address: **801 E. Dixie Avenue, Ste 101; Leesburg, Florida 34748** **Job Functions** + Welcomes patients and visitors + Assists patients, answering patients' questions + Appointment scheduling + Verification of insurances + Collecting patient charges **Required Qualifications** + Experience in a fast pace/high volume environment + Experience with MS Outlook + Bilingual English/Spanish- Must be able to speak, read, and write in both languages without limitations or assistance + Basic Computer knowledge + Must be a team player with excellent communication skills + Willingness to learn and be cross trained in other roles based on business need + This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program.
