Responsibilities: ... Greet patients and visitors in a warm and friendly manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Schedule appointments for patients
Verify patient demographic and insurance information, updating records as necessary.
Collect co-payments and payments for services rendered, accurately processing transactions and providing receipts.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing information and directing calls to the appropriate department or staff member.
Retrieve and distribute patient forms, medical records, and other documents as needed.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical office administration is preferred.
Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
