Job Requirements:
The Medical Clerk will have the following requirements:
High school diplomaAt least 1 year of administrative experience, preferably with medical records
At least 6 months of experience within the last year working in a medical environment.Excellent interpersonal skillsMust have flexible availability. Days/Evenings/Nights/Weekends/Holidays will all be required.We are currently looking for mainly evening/night shift availability.
Job Duties
Receives patients, visitors, and telephone calls into the Emergency Department.Obtain identifying information and determines the nature of the visit/ call.Review all database information for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.Ensure required forms/documents are completed appropriately.Alternates duty days between the Registration Desk, Floater Desk and the ED Treatment Area (nursing station).Maintain positive customer service
