Responsibilities

CHI St. Alexius is looking for a Medical Records Clerk to join the team!

The Medical Records Clerk maintains the integrity of all medical record information by demonstrating a cooperative effort throughout the Clinic Health Information Management Department and CHI St. Alexius Health. 

What You'll Do:Adheres to CHI St. Alexius Health’s mission, values, and Journey Beyond Excellence expectations to foster a compassionate, healing environment providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and visitors.Collects/preps documents and miscellaneous filing, appropriately scans, indexes, and verifies documents into the EMR.Understands and follows Release of Information policy and procedures.Assists in maintaining organization in the Clinic Health Information Management department.Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in multi-disciplinary problem solving.Utilizes the Electronic Medical Record and scanning.


Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent.

Experience in a medical or hopsital office setting
