Performs clerical duties and technical skills associated with medical record procedures.
Abstracts, copies and mails pertinent portions of medical records while ensuring patient confidentiality.
Assembles, analyzes, and maintains complete medical records. Creates or reactivates retired/stored records.
Files medical records accurately and timely.
Assists with reviewing requests for release of medical information for proper authorization as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
