Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity in Monroe, New Jersey. The role is for a Medical Scheduler, where you will be involved in a variety of tasks related to patient communication and electronic record management. Responsibilities: • Efficiently manage inbound calls from patients and address their concerns • Assist patients by providing timely and accurate information • Connect with patients for appointments, follow-ups, and other medical needs • Maintain and update the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) with patient details • Use the Centricity Business software for EMR management • Monitor patient accounts and take necessary actions Requirements • Proven experience in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance sector • Proficiency in answering inbound calls, with emphasis on clarity, patience, and professionalism • Demonstrated ability to assist patients, prioritizing their needs and concerns • Experience in contacting patients, both for appointment scheduling and follow-up communication • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably Centricity Business • Ability to efficiently navigate and manage EMR (Electronic Medical Records), ensuring accurate record-keeping • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on scheduling and time management • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines • Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible evenings and weekends.
