Medical Science Liaison – Nephrology / Rare Diseases – Southeast Germany

IQVIA is currently recruiting for an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Germany. The role will cover the territory of Bavaria (Southeast Germany) up to Berlin, following the recent launch of a highly anticipated monoclonal antibody product in the Nephrology/Rare Diseases therapy area.

Since their launch in 2012, they have developed the industry’s most rapidly advancing biosimilar medicines portfolio and become leaders in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with national, regional, and local customers (scientific discussions, presentations, data exchange, and education) including clinicians, clinical investigators, and other external stakeholders.Provide medical information and responses to complex medical questions from clinicians.Offer internal scientific support, training, and serve as an expert resource for colleagues.Coordinate scientific education activities and participate in events such as Advisory Boards and congresses.Support investigators, e.g., investigator-sponsored studies.Interact with scientific societies and patient groups as appropriate.Collect and report relevant information to the company, such as competitor information, treatment patterns, product prescribing decision criteria, supply situation, etc.

Skills & Experience Required:

Scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc, etc.).Pharmaceutical industry experience as an MSL in Germany.Previous expertise in Haematology, Nephrology, or Rare Diseases therapy areas; biosimilars experience strongly preferred.Ability to link appropriate scientific support to deliver value in a commercial organization.Experience in understanding and interpreting clinical trial and statistical analysis with the ability to deliver clear and compelling insights.Inspirational presenter, capable of conveying scientific material to large audiences in an engaging manner.Strong leadership qualities, able to influence internal and external stakeholders.Strong collaborator who can build networks across a complex business, with excellent teamwork skills and a resilient attitude.Eligibility to work full-time in Germany (please note sponsorship will not be available).Fluent German and confident English language skills.Full driving license, with willingness to travel throughout the territory, which includes Bavaria (South East Germany) up to Berlin.
