**Medical Science Liaison Manager Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes** + Location: Milan, Italy **About the job** We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary leader interested in shaping the management of people at risk of developing/or with AT1 diabetes. As the MSL Manager AT1D, you will lead a best-in-class MSL team that will establish credibility with AT1D scientific community. You will also contribute the long-term strategy and medical team, considering post-launch period. You have a deep understanding of AT1D therapy area, the medical unmet needs, clinical practice guidelines, patient journey, and competitive landscape. You are recognized by key stakeholders as point of reference, with a significant network within the medical community. You have extensive experience in medical affairs, including people management, medical insights gathering, building strategic partnerships, medical education, data dissemination, and omnichannel KOL engagement. Reporting to the country Medical Lead AT1D, this role is strategically positioned to realize the ambition for AT1D by shaping the AT1D disease strategy and building the launch strategy of this first-in-class therapy, contributing to the overall success of Sanofi and improving people’s life. **Main responsibilities:** + Establish and foster high level scientific relationship with Medical Opinion Leaders and guarantee the dissemination and the exchange of high level scientific and medical information with all relevant top health care stakeholders, throughout a MSL team management; + Support Clinical Study Unit and Medical Affairs in facilitating local research and share competitive intelligence with Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance and Medical Affairs Managers in Business Unit Divisions; + Contribute to obtain the best possible conditions for the patients’ access to medicines in cooperation with Market Access department; + Support affiliate portfolio products throughout their entire Product Life Cycle Management, in accordance with Corporate and local strategic goals. **About you** **Experience** : + Previous and solid experience in a similar position in pharmaceutical industry, with solid experience in a specialistic BU/Division.
