Medical Science Liaison – Oncology – France / Belgium
On behalf of our recruitment partners in France, IQVIA is looking for an MSL (Medical Scientific Liaison) based in France to join our client’s global oncology team as they prepare for launch of a next generation TKI for kidney, metastatic colorectal and head & neck cancers.
Working alongside 1 other field medical affairs colleague to cover clinical trial sites in France and Belgium, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation that strives to accelerate the discovery, development, and commercialization of new medicines for difficult-to-treat cancers, for candidates who would like to work as part of an international team.
Responsibilities:
Provide field-based medical support to the company’s clinical research programsDeliver credible presentations on scientific matters in the disease area of responsibility and about the company pipeline to investigators in company-sponsored interventional researchEngage with clinical trial site investigators and staff to understand enrolment/screening barriers from a medical perspective, and work with the site and client to find potential medical solutions with the aim of supporting clinical trial enrolmentProvide support to company clinical development and operations teams through site recommendations, initiation visits, facilitation of communication, and accrual support activitiesIn an accurate, fair and balanced manner, exchange scientific information with external partiesReport field intelligence to IQVIA/Client including competitive information, perspectives about compounds, and the treatment landscapeEstablish and maintain a close working relationship with site management & monitoring staff and partner in facilitating the initiation and conduct of prioritized company clinical trials.Benefits:

Requirements:
Scientific degree – PhD, PharmD, MDIdeally with proven success in a similar MSL role in the pharma / biotech industry (preferably including working at pipeline stage) although aspiring MSL applications are welcomedDeep oncology therapy area expertise essentialExperience of the clinical trials environment highly desirableOutstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate in local language and English, as this position is part of an international teamEligibility to work full-time in and already physically located in this countryFull driving license with willingness to travel throughout your geographical territory as required.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
