Medical Scientific Liaison
Position Overview
As a Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL), you will be the key link between Bayer and the medical community. You will drive medical strategy, build relationships with Thought Leaders (TLs), and provide scientific insights that influence our business and healthcare landscape. This role involves both strategic planning and direct interaction with healthcare professionals to ensure alignment with Bayer's goals and the unmet needs of patients.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
Translate local medical plans into actionable TL engagement strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Review interaction analytics, stay updated on scientific research, and anticipate business and customer needs based on market trends and competitors.Build strong partnerships with TLs, gather insights on unmet medical needs, and communicate them to inform strategies.Contribute to Bayer’s medical programs, facilitate evidence generation, and assist clinical trial teams with data collection and feasibility assessments.Document and process medical information queries in line with company procedures.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in medicine, natural sciences, or pharmacology.Minimum of 2 years in the medical/pharmaceutical field (drug information, clinical research, or development).Basic knowledge of therapeutic area (TA) products and preferred business acumen.Proven track record of successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop cohesive strategies and gain support on critical issues.Demonstrated ability to lead workstreams and drive impactful outcomes.
