Under the direction of the Nurse Manager and attending physicians, act as a Medical Scribe and provide electronic medical record support services related to patient care. Duties are not limited to but will include:

Entering orders and referrals and all medical information relevant to the office visit Preparing electronic charts in advance and during visits for new and established patients by entering referring and other treating Doctors(s) contact information/care team Take patient history, review of systems, physical exam findings, symptoms and complaints Transcribing medical data quickly and accurately while patients are being examined

The scribe will need to be familiar with most current electronic medical record system in the clinic and be available for training when required. The scribe will complete all return to work and return to school forms when required by the physician. The scribe will also assist in abstracting, scanning, cataloging paper records into the electronic record and other duties as needed. This position would involve work travel between Westwood and Santa Monica locations. Other locations in the future as needed.

Salary: $24.86 Hourly
