Job Description

The Operator position will support daily operations activities. The position will be responsible for tissue processing, receiving inspection, cleaning of tools and equipment used in production, and assisting in the metals area. This is a crucial role as part of the Operations team focusing on upcoming clinical milestones of the Company with significant opportunity for growth. This position will support operations builds of valves to support clinical trials and R&D builds.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble heart valves through sewing operations to attach tissue to stent frame per released manufacturing procedures.Support R&D builds by assembling tissue valves per special work order instructions provided by Engineers, Managers, Directors, and other Technicians.Utilize small tools such as needles, hemostats, scissors, forceps, microscope, and calibrated systems to perform assigned steps in the sewing assembly of valves.Prepare chemicals per instructions provided that are required in the valve assembly/process.Perform inspection of implantable devices such as heart valves using calipers, measurement systems, microscopes, etc.Maintain cleanroom integrity by using proper attire and adhering to cleanroom environment practices and procedures.Clean and autoclave parts/components used in operations.Adhere to and support general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, and FDA regulations.Follow company policies for proper handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials.Possess knowledge of tissue/valve characteristics and defects according to established quality and assembly procedures.Essential SkillsExperience working in a cleanroom environment.Knowledge of medical devices.Experience with microscope assembly and sewing.6 months experience working with tissue, including processing and trimming.1 year of experience in assembly, inspection, and hand tool usage.Medical assembly experience.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00
