**Medical Staff Coordinator**
**Location:** Glens Falls, NY - 12801
**Employment Type:** Direct-Hire, Permanent
**Setting:** Hospital
**Pay:** $22.80-$34.20 per hour
**Shift:** Day
**Qualifications:**
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree.
- Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional in Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certification. If not certified, must be certified within 3 years.
- 1-2 years of Credentialing and Privileging experience.
- Will consider candidates with Hospital-based data analysis/IT database experience.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and database experience.
- Medical Terminology knowledge.
**Key Duties:**
- Coordinate the credentialing and reappointment processes for medical and allied health staff, ensuring compliance with bylaws and regulations.
- Distribute and verify credentialing applications to facilitate timely staff reappointments.
- Notify medical and allied health staff about their bi-annual reappointment application responsibilities.
- Update all necessary documentation to prevent expirations during reappointment cycles, following regulations and bylaws.
- Provide administrative support to the Medical/Dental staff organization, utilizing software like Word, Excel, and database management while managing multiple tasks independently.
