Responsibilities

As an RN at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will assess patient/family health problems and resources, taking a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations. Position requires providing service to one or more age groups including young adults through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

Responsibilities:

Assists nursing staff in providing patient careAssists other health team members in meeting patient/family education needs. Introduces self and role when interacting
with patients and families. Completes walking rounds and white boards.
Manages patient pain level through administration of comfort measures: warm blanket, ice, elevation etc.
Completes required documentation in patient's chart.Maintains and organizes unit supplies and equipmentMaintains Personal and Professional responsibility

Preferred: One year medical/surgical acute experience

Education:

ADN, Diploma or Foreign Equivalent

Licensure:

Current AZ RN License in good standingCurrent American Heart Association BLSAmerican Heart Association ACLS obtained within 6 months of hire
