Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) Start Date: December 30, 2024 Pay: $2300 per week (travel pay) Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Roanoke Rapids, NC. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: + Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting. + Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. + Monitor and assess patient conditions. + Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. + Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. + Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-hospital care. Requirements: + Current RN license in the state of North Carolina. + Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience. + BLS and ACLS certifications. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Flexibility to work night shifts.
