Responsibilities

Tower 8 is a 30 bed, Medical-Surgical-Telemetry unit, at St. Joseph's Hospital with a primary focus on caring for post-surgical patients. The unit cares for patients who have undergone trauma surgery, general surgery and orthopedic surgery, as well as kidney and liver transplants and hepatobiliary surgery. It is a fast-paced environment that values learning, skill development, collaboration, and a teamwork. It is both dynamic and rewarding. We have many certified nurses and excellent preceptors. It is a great unit to learn, grow and thrive.

Qualifications

Minimum:


Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 
AZ RN license 
American Heart Association BLS certification 

Preferred:


BSN
Professional certification in area of specialty
One year recent acute care experience
