Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Functional Analyst Advisor (combat casualty/trauma care) to assist our Government client in the transition of products from the science and technology community, through advanced development, and into sustainment of fielded medical products, devices, equipment, and systems used on the battlefield. Our work depends on a Functional Analyst Advisor joining our team and utilizing your experience in combat casualty and clinical care to help ensure our Client’s medical products are ready for deployment following DoD requirements and able to meet the acquisition timeline to make is way to the Warfighter. 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provide senior level subject matter expertise in combat casualty care, emergency medicine and treatment, and equipment/devices/drugs used on the battlefield.Apply clinical decision-making and knowledge to provide recommendations regarding equivalent medical items.Support standardization of medical items according to current best clinical practices.Stay abreast of the healthcare marketplace to provide recommendations on new technologies and capabilities; conduct market research into available products and vendors.Participate on working groups by providing expert advice to develop plans and protocols for clinical studies and testing plans, analysis of alternatives, business case assessments, and acquisition strategies.Evaluate the quality systems of vendors, laboratories, and manufacturers.Maintain an in-depth understanding of operational requirements.Access Defense Logistics Agency websites to conduct research and evaluation of combat casualty care and treatment equipment for sustainment of assigned items.Assist with development of capability documents, acquisition strategies, and logistical support requirements, adhering to the corresponding DoD 5000 series acquisition process.Prepare accurate and timely documentation such as white papers, information papers, after action reports, executive summaries, briefings, and decision memorandums.Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in a related field (trauma/emergency medicine, nursing, or science/technology) or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience and knowledge of medical product support.Preferred Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in Federal contracting, government or military environment.Required Technical Skills: Clinical, Nursing, Strong analytical skills.Security Clearance Level: NA – T1 Public TrustRequired Skills and Abilities: Excellent communications, writing, organizational and project management skills; Experience, knowledge and the ability to execute using Microsoft Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as Microsoft OutlookLocation: Hybrid (3 days telework)Travel:  Occasional Travel is required (10%)US Citizenship Required
