Our full-time employees enjoy a robust benefits package which may include health insurance, 401(k), flexible scheduling, **licensure/certification reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, and student loan assistance for eligible roles.** **Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field (biological or chemical sciences) is **required** . + Will consider candidates with an Associate’s degree in laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution who meet CLIA’88 high-complexity testing requirements. + _Prefers_ graduation from an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician program and passing a national exam given by the Board of Registry of the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). + One to two years experience in a generalist role is _preferred_ . **Additional Requirements:** + Precision and accuracy in performing laboratory procedures. + Keen judgment to evaluate information against measurable criteria in the performance of tests. + Visual acuity to read instructions and examine specimens. + Form perception and color discrimination to identify cells and micro-organisms. + Manual dexterity to operate equipment. **About the Job:** + Assist the Section Supervisor in resolving equipment problems, oversee the teaching and evaluation of students and new employees, and have expertise with specific Laboratory procedures or Laboratory instrumentation. + Perform routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and body fluid specimens under minimal supervision. + Ensures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control program. + Perform instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures according to department’s policies and procedures. + Perform minor instrument repair as necessary. **We know it’s not just about finding a job.
