Job Description: As an Overnight Hematology Technologist, you will be a vital part of our laboratory operations. Your immediate responsibilities will include:

Performing critical hematology tests with precision and urgencyReading slides and reading the different red/white blood cell countsResponsible for QC being run and correctValidating any abnormalities from slidesDoing urinalysis microscopy

Qualifications:

NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist licenseBachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or a related fieldCertification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) by ASCP or equivalentAble to work independently and efficiently during overnight hoursProfessional experience working in hematologyComfortable reading slides/ performing manual differentials
