Job Title: Medical TechnologistJob Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our team. You will be responsible for entering data into MARS for medical records, billing, statistics, and quality assurance purposes. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area, ensuring the exam room is properly supplied, performing clerical tasks, and reporting equipment malfunctions are key aspects of this role. You will also administer patient care practices according to hospital and department policies to ensure patient safety. Responsibilities + Enter data into MARS for medical records, billing, statistics, and quality assurance purposes. + Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition. + Ensure the exam room is properly supplied. + Perform various clerical tasks including answering phones, relaying messages, and scheduling exams. + Report equipment malfunctions to supervisory personnel. + Administer patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures to ensure patient safety. Essential Skills + Experience in imaging and portable medical technology. + ARRT certification. + Associate’s degree or one to three years of formal training in an American Medical Association accredited Radiologic Technology Program. + Less than two to five years of previous job experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong organizational and communication skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Commitment to patient care and safety. Work Environment You will work Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, providing growth opportunities across multiple departments. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
