Medical Technologist - Hematology
Description: Overnight Hematology Medical Laboratory Technologist supervises operations and experiments within the laboratory. Must Haves: 1. NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license 2. Professional experience working in hematology 3. Comfortable reading slides/manual differentials Shift: Overnight Job responsibilities: The overnight hematology technologist will be responsible for the following: - Reading slides, reading the different red/white blood cell counts and counting them - responsible for QC being run and correct - looking through software - validating any abnormalities from slides - doing urinalysis microscopy - must have good communication skills, able to communicate if instrument is down, candidates must be proactive and willing to work.
