Emphasis Point of Care ; Tuesday-Friday 10 hour shifts
$5000 SIGN ON BONUS
The Medical Technologist must promote good public relations for the department and Northwest Medical Center while maintaining patient/customer confidentiality. Medical Technologists are responsible for:
Experience with training non laboratory personnel.Working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards.Develops Quality Control Plan.Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Reports to the Laboratory Director.Requires graduation from an accredited MT/MLT program Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.Education / License / Certification:Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science required2 experience in field or related areaASCP preferredExperience / Skills:Able to meet sensory requirements of the job.Capable of performing all laboratory tests and related calculations.Able to participate in laboratory Quality Assurance ProgramAttention to detail and concentrationAbility to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environmentAbout Northwest Health
