Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Transcriptionist to transcribe dictation from physicians or other healthcare personnel. They are responsible for entering patienthistory, diagnoses, medical treatments, medical reports, records, surgicalprocedure documents and miscellaneous correspondence.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. Certification by the AmericanAssociation for Medical Transcription preferred; Certification may be required for specific assignments. Thorough knowledge of medicalterminology, anatomy and physiology, medical procedures, medications and medical testinformation preferred. Competency with transcribing equipmentand related computer software. Current physical exam, if required bystate regulations or contract specifications.
