Momentum Physical Therapy has an opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Medical Verification Authorization Receptionist to join our team in our fun and energetic outpatient orthopedic clinic Helotes.

Job Duties:
Obtain authorization as it applies to specific payor requirementsConfirm patient insurance coverage to ensure therapy treatment is covered for new and established patientsUnderstand and articulate information to the treating provider as neededEnter data such as insurance information into patient accounts accurately, timely, and completelyCommunicate daily with all Ability Rehabilitation’s clinic locations as neededRun daily and bi-weekly reports to prioritize status of authorizations for completionProtect PHI and follow HIPPA regulationsDemonstrate the ability to maintain good rapport with the public, personnel, and clinical staffParticipate in special projects involving front office quality assurance
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent educationAccurate data entry skills and detailed-orientedMust have computer and research skillsExtensive knowledge of insurance type coverage and policiesAbility to work on multiple tasks at onceWorks well in a team environmentCommunicates well with the public and other personnel in a professional and courteous manner1+ years of experience in insurance verification
