Medicare Sales Rep Sr
Job Summary

Professionally and effectively market, consult, and educate the advantages of PriorityMedicare or Individual benefit plans to prospective members, employers, consultants/agents to achieve personal and corporate membership goals and objectives. All efforts will be done in accordance with Priority Health policies and procedures and CMS guidelines. Substantial knowledge of both individual and employer group products and competition is required. Will be lead trainer for agents and new External Sales Representatives.

Essential Functions

Coordinates the sale of insurance products via brokers

Educates brokers on products available, underwriting and enrollment process including agent certification

Coordinates the administrative and service procedures for assigned Agencies and Agents for their territory

Assists brokers in enrollment training for the Agent, and the enrollment process

Conducts market research on competitors; propose recommendations to management on product availability and guidelines based on market demands. Works closely with the marketing department to determine advertising, promotion and materials for OEP/AEP.

Conducts projects and participates in team activities to identify problems and improve work processes and systems

Responsible for obtaining target growth and retention goals for all lines of products

Qualifications

Required

Associate's Degree or equivalent

5 years of relevant experience Sales Experience

LIC-Michigan Health & Life Insurance License - STATE_MI State of Michigan 90 Days

LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
