SHIFTS AND HOURS

We have Full and Part Time Staff Positions available for Overnight Shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Scheduled Shifts are 12 Hours, 3 Days per week with shift differentials available Part-Time Medication Aides Shifts can be flexible according to your own schedule, great if you are completing your Nursing Course. All Full Time Medication Aides Rotate Weekend Shifts.

 

TRAINING AND ORIENTATION

Keystone Treatment Center is committed to Training and Safety. All New Hire Medication Aides will attend a 2 Day Facility Orientation and Patient Treatment Program Overview before spending 2 Weeks in Unit Orientation with a Preceptor. We can accommodate shadow shifts for interested candidates!

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE MEDICATION AIDE (MEDAID)

Provide Nursing care, as directed by the Nurse Staff and in conformance with the established standards and administrative policies Communicate clearly and effectively to patients, their family members, guests and other members of the health care team. Passes and charts daily medications as directed by nurse Provides therapeutic listening and guidance as required May transfer or transport patients Performs room checks

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Previous experience in behavioral health setting knowledge and experience working with the population of the facility preferred.
