Under the direct supervision of an RN, the Medication Aide performs medication administration and prescriber-ordered treatments.

Required Qualifications:

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire. Medication Assistant Certification Endorsement upon hire. Successfully pass NCSBN Medication Assistant Certification exam upon hire. 1 year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant

Preferred Qualification:

1 year experience as a MAC in a health care setting.
