$173,921 - $250,000 a year
**Description**
The Infectious Diseases Division in the Department of Medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry is seeking a full-time academic faculty member at the Assistant Professor level, with a dual appointment in the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Division. The position will be 0.7 FTE in the Infectious Diseases Division (0.5 FTE for adult Infection Prevention, and 0.2 cFTE), and 0.3 FTE in the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Division (0.15 pediatric Infection Prevention, and 0.15 cFTE).
Clinical responsibilities include adult and pediatric Infectious Diseases consultation and teaching in inpatient and outpatient settings at Strong Memorial Hospital and UR Medicine affiliates. This could also include telemedicine for acute inpatient care at affiliate hospitals or other remote hospitals.
**Qualifications**
Candidates must have completed fellowship training in Infectious Diseases
M.D. Degree or equivalent
Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
Must meet all credentialing requirements
Eligible for Board Certification in Infectious Diseases
Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
