As a Meditech Informatics Specialist, you will facilitate the integration of nursing practice with data and information systems to improve the quality of patient care. This role will also be responsible for application building and support of all clinical solutions for the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Meditech Systems, and other clinical systems. You will collaborate with Meditech representatives and end users to ensure the system meets the organization’s business needs. You will also perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical tasks associated with Meditech software. This is a full time opportunity reporting onsite in Chicago, IL with on call support as needed.
Qualifications Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration or related fieldExperience with Meditech requiredKnowledge of Materials ManagementAbility to use Microsoft Excel, Word and other computer applicationsAbility to comply with OSHA regulations and CDC standardsAbility to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work.The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be requiredLegally authorized to work in the US without sponsorshipMust demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
