Title: MedSSI: IT Specialist (TCN) Belong, Connect, Grow with KBR! PROGRAM SUMMARY: The Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) works in support of the Department of State to provide medical support services. The primary scope of this program is to execute medical support services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East. POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Specialist work under direct supervision, performing routine assignments as an entry level professional; developing core job competencies with existing procedures by solving standard problems. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Responsible for the administration of one or more of the following data systems: + Computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices. + Maintains, installs, upgrades and configures data systems, administers operating systems, and maintains basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: + Requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. + Specific contract requirements will prevail. + Must be medically fit and willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS + Must be able to lift 50lbs + Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 13 months of remaining validity AND 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining + Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently + Candidates must also meet CENTCOM MOD (Fit for Duty) theater requirements. + Must currently possess or be able to obtain prior to being hired as is required for this position a U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance and/or a favorable USG Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT).
