The Lead Risk Specialist is responsible for executing operational and compliance related internal audit projects and should have MedTech industry knowledge including understanding of relevant standards, regulations, and emerging risks to support internal audit activities.  Baseline knowledge of internal audit principles, methodologies, and practices is a plus.

​What You Will Do

Execute detailed planning steps, including documenting project risk assessment results, identifying and prioritizing risks and processes, and developing proposed project scope.

Prepare and update work program and planned testing procedures to align with identified risks.

Lead walkthroughs, fieldwork meetings and execute audit procedures over complex audit areas.

Provide daily oversight and manage all fieldwork activities for internal audit projects.

Review workpapers and test results and provide feedback and coaching to the team.

Supervise and coach junior team members throughout fieldwork.

Draft audit findings, remediation plans, and conduct root cause analysis.

Draft audit reports, ensuring information is factual and supported by audit procedures.​

Participate in annual risk assessment and understand its connection to the audit plan.

Utilize digital tools and technologies and seek new learning opportunities to enhance technical and digital expertise.

What You Need

Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, business administration, or healthcare administration

4+ years professional experience required

Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CFE or equivalent is preferred

Knowledge of the MedTech industry, including relevant regulations and risks

Travel Percentage: 20%
