The Meeting & Event Specialist supports the Meeting, Travel, & Procurement Senior Manager on firm strategy and risk management of events. This position partners with internal and external contacts, oversees all systems and tools, works independently to manage meetings and events of various sizes and scope, and assists with departmental administration.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Drive all contractual & logistical aspects of firm meetings/events including vendor selection and RFP processes, deal negotiation, and registration while providing a distinctive service and delivering high customer satisfaction. Logistics management may include onsite management of the meeting/event and travel
+ Utilize Cvent system and other tools to issue RFPs, manage registrations, reporting, budgeting, and mobile app creation
+ Participate in the development and implementation of firmwide travel & event-related strategy, policies, and procedures
+ Deliver continued reductions in Moss Adams’ fixed and variable cost structure for purchases of products and services as they relate to meetings & events including negotiating rates and ensuring that contracts are advantageous
+ Establish & maintain strong relationships with internal clients, external vendors, and industry peers while actively participate in industry associations as a representative of Moss Adams
+ Serve as back up system administrator for Cvent
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Hospitality Management or related field strongly preferred
+ Minimum of 1 year of related experience required; experience in a professional services environment preferred
+ Versed in strategic sourcing, vendor oversight, negotiations, contract management, and additionally exhibit a strong sense of financial controllership
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to effectively interface and communicate with all levels within the firm and external vendors
+ Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to own and drive project schedule from start to finish, including managing peers and individuals senior to you
+ Experience with event management software \(E.g., Cvent\)
+ Effective time management skills, proven ability to prioritize while simultaneously managing numerous projects/processes often under tight deadlines
+ Proven commitment to providing exceptional client service
+ Ability to travel as needed, approximately 30%
