Your Role:
Are you ready for a challenging, hands-on role in the semiconductor manufacturing environment? We are seeking an Operations Technician to join our MEGASYS® team at EMD Electronics in Siler City, NC.
MEGASYS® is the branded name for EMD Electronics services where EMD Electronics Technicians and Engineers provide on-site gas and chemical/slurry management.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain supply of chemicals and gases for semiconductor manufacturing.Ensure compliance in operation and maintenance procedures.Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers.Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance.Utilize computer operations to support job functions and customer needs.Support quality systems and act as the primary communication point to the customer.
Physical Attributes:
Walking throughout the facility for 75% of shift (5-6 miles per day)Climbing ladders up to 12 feet tall (utilizing fall protection)Basic lifting (up to 40 lbs)Bending of the knees and overhead reaching
This is a Compressed 12-hour shift of 3 days on, 3 days off, 4 days on, 4 days off.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or relevant technical trainingProficient with MS Office SuitePrior experience working in a mechanical or electronic environmentExperience with BCD/PCD and gas related equipmentExperience with gas and/or chemical delivery systems in ultra-high purity operationStrong technical aptitudeExcellent communication skillsRSREMD
