What You'll Do Regularly holds safety, quality, customer feedback and financial information meetings with maintenance team members Reviews safety requirements and points out potential hazards that may exist Ensures, at the start of the shift and throughout the day, the prompt assignment of technicians to specific jobs which are appropriate to their possessed skills and/or to their training needs Reviews available planned job packages for completeness and correctness Confirms the technician knows what, where, how, why, and when for each job providing the opportunity for clarification Makes the tactical decisions necessary: staying as close to schedule as possible Assures accurate distribution of time and materials to specific jobs together with good feedback including proper work order entries Assures that any necessary corrective work orders stemming from inspections and other sources have been initiated What You'll Need Two years' supervisory experience preferred Experience with Preventative/Planned Maintenance processes and procedures and ability to develop procedures and schedules preferred Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics Experience working with and maintaining welding machines, hydraulic equipment, mechanical equipment, pneumatic equipment and cooling systems Working knowledge of computers and computer software Certified Maintenance and Reliability Profession (CMRP) certification preferred Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
