As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client. Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work. Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies. Performing risk, value management, and cost control. Advising on procurement strategy. Identifying, analyzing, and developing responses to commercial risks. Preparing and analyzing project cost reports. Monitoring the progress of projects and investigating variances. Providing advice on contractual claims and disputes. Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations. Participating in project meetings and conference calls. Collaborating with other team members to achieve project objective and quality monitoring and measurement
Education Qualification
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Certification required
• Chartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) or equivalent certification is preferred.
Experience
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within the Airline and Aviation industry.
• Demonstrated track record of successful project management and cost control.
• Proven experience in procurement and contract administration.
