Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Part- Time (week days and weekends) seasonal member Relations Assistant. Qualified candidates must thrive in a hospitality environment, and be highly focused on providing superior service. This position requires long periods of sitting at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities of the Front Desk Concierge:
• Familiarizes themselves with club events and department basics so that they can accurately relay information to members and guests.
• Answers all incoming member and guest calls to the guest service desk and redirects them to the appropriate department.
• Replies to all incoming emails by answering or redirecting the email to the appropriate department.
• Presents themselves in a professional manner. Communicates professionally in both written communication as well as verbally with members and other associates.
• Assists Director of Sales with current and NEW member information.
• Creates and displays accurate signage in a timely manner throughout the club for member and outside events. Removes signage, and/or delegates the removal in a timely manner.
• Assists members and guests with general questions and concerns regarding events and directs all other inquiries to the appropriate department or person.
• Must use discretion regarding members, club, and associate personal information and display proper judgement when discussing sensitive and confidential information.
• Maintains adequate supply of brochure rack items in a clean, well-organized manner and posts member events flyers in member locker room.
• Maintains a clean work environment and is proactive in keeping the surrounding areas throughout the clubhouse clean and free of clutter.
• Assists guests and follows up with various services such as: making dining reservations, Member event reservations, hotel reservations, coordinating car and limousine service, providing directions, and other special arrangements.
• Must be flexible with scheduling and able to work weekends and holidays. (Typically Saturday and/or Sunday). Coordinates days off with other concierge and advises manager.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Willingness to assist in other departments as needed.
Minimum Qualifications for the Member Relations Assistant:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other Qualifications:
• Regular and reliable attendance. Arrives to shift on time.
